Chris Banks is to be Ascendancy Water's first Non-Executive Director bringing with him a wealth of competitive water industry experience. Chris was a founder Director of Central Market Agency and responsible for the Wholesale Revenue team in Scottish Water. As Commercial Director of Wholesaler for 12 years, he played a leading role in turning Wholesaler - with a turnover of £1.1 billion - from industry laggard to top quartile performing water and waste company in UK while also successfully separating its Wholesale and Retail operations at the start of the competitive Scottish market.

Chris Banks said:

"I am delighted to be joining Ascendancy Water at this time in a Non-Executive capacity. There is a unique team with real practiced expertise in the competitive water market at AW that is available to participants as we head towards further opening of the UK market based on learnings from the successful model in Scotland."

Charles Vincent Ascendancy Water Managing Director said:

"I am thrilled to announce that Chris will be joining the Ascendancy board. Having someone with Chris' experience and strategic vision will ensure that the exceptional growth that Ascendancy has seen in 2014 continues and increases."
